TSCC took on the Pakistan Badshaws on Sunday, June 12th at Shin Min baseball grounds on a hot and Steamy morning. Two 15 over games were scheduled in Preparation for the Chunghwa PCCT cup.
Badshaws were put into bat making only 100 for 3 15 overs with Shoaib Tanweer making 29 and Roshan 37.
James Daly was the pick of the bowlers taking 2 for 9 in 3 overs.Newcomer Calib Kenyon bowled with pace for TSCC.
New Opener Eben Haarhoff looked very determined supporting his new TSCC haircut making a quick fire 13. He was well supported by Duane Christie 49 in 34 balls as TSCC Cruised to victory in 13. 1overs. In the 2nd game Badshaws decided to bat first again making an improved score of 123 for 5 in 15 overs, Calib Kenyon was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 14 in 3overs. Backed up well by Spinner Herc Malan 1 for 17 and Jeff Black 1 for 13.
It looks like TSCC may have to turn to their Veteran Spinner Carrick for Taipei as Malan is on ”baby duty”! TSCC Stormed to victory with Jeff Black 52 from 37 balls(retired) and then left it to the return of Mike O’Callaghan to knock the winning runs with 10 not out as TSCC finally knocked off the runs in 14.1overs with 8 wickets to spare.
TSCC welcome the Scunners to their team this weekend as they play as a combined side in Taipei .
